Verarbeitung

AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel is a permanent impregnation that penetrates up to 20 cm deep (No chemicals or chlorides) - providing lasting protection for your building.
What is hydrophobization?
Hydrophobization is the prevention of water transport in the capillary system of concrete for all open-pored cementitious or mineral surfaces, both interior and exterior.
AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel forms a highly water- and dirt-repellent surface that is very easy to clean. It prevents moss, fungus, or algae infestation. It protects the material against salt efflorescence, air pollution, and UV radiation.
Furthermore, it offers transparent protection on all types of walls / concrete surfaces while maintaining the natural appearance. AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel is colorless, odorless, solvent-free, non-flammable, and non-toxic. It leaves no film layer, but a clear and natural surface.
In the commercial sector, AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel is most frequently used for natural surfaces and acts as a repellent against water, all kinds of liquids (oil, grease, red wine, coffee, etc.), simple paint, and environmental influences.
Old (untreated) stones and bricks regain their original appearance, become waterproof and permanently protected. Additionally, "drying out" and protection against penetrating rain lowers heating and energy costs.
Typical areas of use are walls, floors, ceilings, chimneys, roof tiles, and patios.
How does AREXAL®-Hydro-Concrete work
AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel impregnates all open-pored cementitious or mineral surfaces, both inside and outside.
This includes all types of concrete, screed, brick, clay, clinker, as well as various stones (e.g., sandstone, terracotta, brick, etc.). AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel forms a highly water- and dirt-repellent surface, preventing moss, fungus, or algae infestation and is very easy to clean.
The surface treated with AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel is protected against salt efflorescence, air pollution, and UV rays.
Advantages
easy and hassle-free to apply
odorless
environmentally friendly
breathable
acid-resistant
single treatment
longer lifespan
reduced maintenance
dust-binding
easier cleaning
Properties

applications, wet on wet) and hydrophobizes the surface
pure natural product based on water-soluble potassium methylsilanetriolate with organic catalyst, ready to use
Application
Before use, turn the container upside down and shake well. ArexA-Hydro-Ziegel is most evenly and easily applied with a standard pressure sprayer. For small areas, a roller, brush, or sponge can also be used. To avoid puddling, the surface to be treated should be thinly and evenly wetted.
AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel should not be diluted and only transferred into unused containers. Generally, one treatment is sufficient.
For highly absorbent surfaces, an additional treatment – wet on wet – is recommended.
Note: AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel is hydrophobic. Therefore, do not apply to surfaces that are to be treated with further materials. Painting, etc., is not possible after treatment with AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel.
Usage
Basically, AREXAL®-Hydro-Concrete is a surface sealant with depth effect for all types of concrete, stone types (such as brick, sand-lime brick, granite, slate, etc.), clinker, and other stones.
It can be used on these materials when the surfaces are to be completely sealed and protected against water and acid, but not further treated or painted. The range of application possibilities is very wide, here are some examples where AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel has been successfully applied. AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel does not work on treated surfaces and materials.
Please check carefully whether your stones, etc., have been chemically treated. AREXAL®-Hydro-Ziegel can only be used on natural stones or bricks. In rare cases, some newer stones have been treated with additives, which can cause color deviation. If you are unsure, apply AREXAL-Hydro-Ziegel to an inconspicuous area for testing and wait 2 days.
Suitable surfaces
Brick facades (sealing, stone restoration, energy cost reduction, joint sealing) - e.g., in monument restoration
unsealed stone floors (sand-lime brick, sandstone, granite, slate, terracotta, basalt, etc.)

Product Description
AREXAL® Injection Plus is a low-viscosity liquid based on stabilized alkali silicate compounds with pronounced water-repellent properties for hydrophobic silicification of mineral building materials.- Consumption: 2.5L per linear meter
Test Certificate
Properties and application of AREXAL® Injection Plus from the Institute for Building Materials Dr. Günther Böttcher dated May 31, 1983, and Expert Report No. 69/93, Richard-Grün-Institute, Ratingen.
Areas of Application
For the production of subsequent horizontal barriers and surface seals in masonry and concrete against capillary penetrating or rising dampness.
Mode of Action (Properties)
Once introduced into the masonry, the first phase involves the separation of the silica gel from the silicate component. The drying effect achieved by reducing the capillary absorption capacity leads to further drying in the masonry cross-section, which in turn allows the effect of the hydrophobic component of AREXAL® Injection Plus to develop in the second phase. This hydrophobization of the masonry cross-section also prevents future moisture penetration when secondary capillaries form due to shrinkage.
Application Instructions
Impregnation method: To achieve the desired effect, please follow these steps:
1. Drill holes with a diameter of 13 mm at an angle of about 30 degrees to the wall. These holes should be arranged linearly or staggered and must not be more than 240 mm apart, as shown in the attached system diagram. Ensure that the drill hole stops about 60 mm before the end of the wall.
2. Remove the drill dust from the holes and then impregnate the holes several times with AREXAL® Injection Plus until the capillary structure is completely saturated. Do not wait more than 8 hours between each impregnation.TIP: Use a pressure sprayer, for example from "GLORIA", to fill the drill holes 3. Then close the drilled holes with special mortar (AREXAL® - Crystalline Sealing Slurry) by filling the holes.4. If the wall thickness exceeds 60 cm, it is necessary to perform the impregnation from both sides of the wall.
Non-Pressure Injection Method
Impregnation method: Create drill holes Ø 30 mm at an inclination angle of approx. 30°, linearly or staggered at a maximum distance of 12 cm (see system diagram). Blow out the drill dust and then impregnate several times with AREXAL® Injection Plus until the capillary structure is completely saturated. The waiting time between each impregnation should not exceed 8 hours. Then close the drill holes with special mortar (AREXAL® - Crystalline Sealing Slurry) (fill them). For wall thicknesses over 60 cm, impregnation from both sides of the wall is required.
Create drill holes Ø 12 mm or 25mm at an inclination angle of approx. 25° linearly or staggered at a distance of 12 cm. Drill hole depth = wall thickness minus 5 cm (see system diagram).
Blow out the drill dust - tension packers or injectors.
Introduce AREXAL® Injection Plus using the injection method. The injection is carried out until the capillary structure is completely saturated, with each packer/injector being supplied with AREXAL® Injection Plus over an extended period.
Then dismantle the packers/injectors and close the drill holes with AREXAL® crystalline sealing slurry (fill them).
For cavities, two- or multi-shell masonry, a pre-injection (pre-filling) is necessary to obtain a compact structure.
AREXAL® Injection Plus
does not attack construction steel
is non-flammable
does not decompose
The process is also suitable if the masonry is under hydrostatic pressure, but only in combination with AREXAL® products - crystalline sealing slurry as a rigid seal and drying of the masonry
Cleaning of the tools and injection machines with water.

Processing Instructions
Sealing of masonry and concrete against soil moisture, pressurized, backwater, and groundwater. The walls should be constructed fully jointed. Voids in the concrete or defects in the masonry should be filled with mortar of mortar group II with the addition of AREXAL®-liquid X. Existing spacers, including star spreaders and wire ties, should be chiseled out 1.5–2 cm and patched with the same mortar. Before forming a fillet, the adhesive surfaces should be primed with AREXAL® Sealing Slurry. Concrete surfaces to be sealed must be open-pored and free from all contaminants such as formwork oil residues and cement remnants. AREXAL® Sealing Slurry should be diluted with water to a spatula or slurry consistency and applied in 2–3 coats or trowelings to the substrate. A new slurry coat should only be applied once the previous one has set. The total thickness of the slurry layer of at least 2 mm should be achieved. Highly absorbent substrates should be pre-moistened, and freshly applied slurry layers should be protected from sunlight and drafts.
Subsequent Horizontal or Vertical Sealing Against Wall and Ground Moisture
Loose plaster and paint coatings must be removed. AREXAL® Sealing Slurry is to be applied 1–2 times generously, with the impregnation being absorbed but not yet dried when the next impregnation is applied. In cases of strong moisture penetration, several more impregnations may be necessary at these locations. A bag of sealing slurry should be intensively mixed with about 5.5 l of water. The first coat with the ArexA Sealing Slurry should be applied on a pre-moistened surface. After that, the sealing slurry should be applied in a thinner consistency as a bonding coat.
Consumption of Sealing Slurry for Concrete Sealings
After the first layer has begun to set, the second coat with the sealing slurries in normal consistency should be applied. After the second layer of sealing slurry has set, at most after 6 hours, but no later than 3 days, the second layer of sealing slurry must be painted or troweled on. It must be ensured that voids are completely filled (no air inclusions). Depending on the moisture or water load, it may be necessary to apply another layer of slurry to achieve an impermeable sealing layer (consumption see diagram). For all intermediate layers, pre-moistening is required before applying the next layer. If a plaster system (e.g., AREXAL® Sanierputz white system) is to be applied to the AREXAL® Sealing Slurry, it should be done in one work step, right after sealing, as the sealing slurry no longer absorbs moisture and the renovation plaster is otherwise more difficult to apply.
Safety Advice
AREXAL® Sealing Slurry is corrosive due to its alkalinity! The protective measures ordered by the chemical professional association must be strictly observed. Work with gloves and safety goggles. Seek medical advice immediately after skin contact. For better protection of the hands, they should be creamed with a protective cream. Product Description
Main uses: AREXAL®-liquid X is used to equip concrete for applications in structural and civil engineering with greater durability in structures historically prone to accelerated damage, to provide increased protection against corrosion of concrete steel, and to replace additional external waterproofing.
The entire concrete is WD (waterproof) and not just WU (water-impermeable) (WU=DIN= Penetration depth allowed up to 5.0 cm).
WU concrete is the abbreviation for water-impermeable concrete. This material and component, as long as there are no cracks or holes, secures the seal against water. It is important to know that in WU concrete, the water penetration depth to be demonstrated can be up to 5.0 cm.
With AREXAL®-liquid X, the penetration depth under permanent water pressure of 7 bar is at most 1.8 cm!
Typical applications include: heritage conservation, floor slabs, basement construction, highways, airport runways, parking garages, foundations, external walls and floor slabs in the ground, sewage treatment plants, underground vaults, tanks and pits, swimming pools, pressure mats, water storage tanks, tunnels, bridge structures (prefabricated and cast-in-place), curbs and gutters, sidewalks, manholes, catch basins, water parks, dams.
Hardened Concrete:
higher compressive strength (with the same spread and air pore content)
meets the requirements of ASTM C 494, chemical additives for concrete, Type A
positive effect on all physical properties
waterproof under hydrostatic pressure up to 7 bar, more than 100 psi (0.7 MPa).
results in a completely waterproof mass.
hard durable surfaces are resistant to sanding or chipping off
surfaces are also very resistant to breaking and wear
eliminates the formation of condensation in the pore matrix, resulting in excellent frost/thaw resistance
Composition and Chemical Components
AREXAL®-liquid X is an inorganic, copolymer, liquid additive for concrete, capable of chemically reacting with Portland cement, thereby improving the properties of concrete in all phases of its production, in the fresh state, during curing, and as finished concrete.
Sealing Effects
The most water-soluble components, calcium hydroxide and calcium-aluminum hydroxide (also referred to as free lime), are converted into the insoluble minerals, tricalcium silicate and tricalcium aluminum silicate. These insoluble minerals grow into the capillaries as very fine micro-crystals. Combined with the micro-pore structure, this results in a concrete mass that can withstand the penetration of water even under the highest pressures.
Long-term Durability
A large amount of macro-pores (found in normal concrete) are reduced in size to micro-pores in AREXAL®-liquid X concrete. About 3.8% of the mass of AREXAL®-liquid X concrete is occupied by these micro-pores. The micro-pores are hydrophobic and, although the system "breathes," condensation cannot form. This fact, combined with other physical properties of AREXAL®-liquid X concrete, results in a concrete matrix that is extremely durable even under the most adverse conditions.
Advantages of AREXAL®-liquid X Fresh Concrete:
contains no calcium chloride (or other chloride ions)
abrasion resistant (no sanding or wear of the concrete even after more than 40 years)
concrete with a lower spread is easier to mix, pump, and compact
lower water/cement ratio
very cohesive, therefore no voids and shrinkage cavities
less water separation (bleeding) and therefore faster finish
excellent workability due to better flow and smoothing properties
easy to pump
AREXAL®-liquid X reduces efflorescence
and shows increased resistance to chloride ion penetration - it does not wear out like a coating (AASHTO T259-78)
minimal separation during curing
significantly reduces shrinkage behavior
lower controlled development of hydration heat
Corrosion Resistance
Independent on-site investigations and laboratory tests show that AREXAL®-liquid X concrete protects reinforcing steel from corrosion and thus permanently prevents concrete spalling!
Technical Data
Packaging: 10l canister, 25 l canister, 200 l drum, 1000-l one-way container
Shelf life: 3 years: protect from frost
Dosage: 1 wt-% based on cement weight = 0.9 l/100 kg cement
Macrocell Corrosion Test
Macrocell corrosion test after 48 weeks of alternating cycles of 4 days immersed in 15% NaCI solution and 3 days dried at 38°C, showed the corrosion current of
AREXAL®-liquid X concrete, according to half-cell potential, values of chloride ion content, all of which were below recognized corrosion threshold values. After forty-eight weeks the slabs were destroyed, and no corrosion on the reinforcing steel was discernible.
Highway bridge study by Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, AG, February 1991, 1998.
Installation
AREXAL®-liquid X additive is added to the concrete on the construction site, in the ready-mix concrete plant, or in the precast concrete plant.
Shake the canister very strongly so that settled crystalline in the container are completely mixed.
Procedure
Compare the delivery mix with the specification
Stir or shake AREXAL®-liquid X in the canister. Continue mixing until a uniformly white consistency is achieved.
Add AREXAL®-liquid X to the concrete mixer in the correct dosage (0.9 l / 100 KG cement)
Mix AREXAL®-liquid X in the concrete mixer truck at the highest speed for 5 minutes
Ensure that no additional mixing water is added. The concrete consistency must be set beforehand.
Addition of water at this point will negate the beneficial effects of AREXAL®-liquid X and may void the warranty.
AREXAL®-liquid X Specification
AREXAL®-liquid X is added to the concrete at a dosage of 0.9 l per 100 kg cement. After adding AREXAL®-liquid X to the mixer of a ready-mix concrete truck, the concrete must be mixed for five minutes at maximum speed. The concrete mix is planned, processed, and cured in accordance with the valid DIN regulations of the respective country.
Note: Normal procedures for processing concrete, as described in the ACI Manual of Concrete Practice, are to be followed when handling, placing, processing, and finishing
AREXAL®-liquid X concrete. To achieve optimal mechanical properties, full compaction is necessary. Curing procedures, as described in the ACI Manual of Concrete Practice (latest edition), must also be followed.
Warranty
25-year warranty on all concrete parts treated with AREXAL®-liquid X.
The prerequisite for the warranty is proper application!
Maintenance
Normal maintenance required for concrete structures also applies to AREXAL®-liquid X concrete.

AREXAL®-PRO-Brick is a permanent impregnation penetrating up to 20 cm deep (No chemicals or chlorides) - lasting protection for your building
AREXAL®-Pro-Brick strengthens brick surfaces and protects them against heavy wear as well as chlorides and aggressive liquids. The protection is vapor-permeable, durable, and acid-resistant.
AREXAL®-Pro-Brick is a surface sealing and protective treatment for susceptible brick surfaces, such as house walls, cellars, wells, and stone walls of all kinds. AREXAL®-Pro-Brick is also used for consolidating surfaces and binding dust during the grinding and polishing of stone floors and walls. The result is a very resistant and scratch-proof surface.
AREXAL®-Pro-Brick penetrates deeply into capillaries, micro-cracks, and pores. A chemical reaction between salts and minerals creates a very hard calcium silicate hydrate. Consequently, a crystalline structure forms, which prevents water penetration but allows the escape of vapors (diffusion). Since the protection penetrates deep into the concrete, it is insensitive to external influences like abrasion and impacts.
A treatment increases the durability (abrasion resistance) of new stone floors and walls by more than 35 percent and strengthens older, weather-exposed stones and walls. The treated surface becomes slightly water-repellent (hydrophobic) with the final treatment. For very moist material, pretreatment with other products from the AREXAL® series is recommended.

Application:
AREXAL®-Pro-Brick is delivered ready for use and does not need to be mixed or diluted with other liquids. Shake the container before use. The surface to be treated must be free of dust, paint, or other coatings that could impair the material's absorbency.
Damage or visible cracks (>1.0 mm) should be repaired before treatment. Protect glass, aluminum, and polished or painted surfaces from etching. In case of splashes, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and, if necessary, clean with an alkaline solution.
The temperature during application and for the following 24 hours must be ≥ +5°C. Avoid direct sunlight during application.
For easy processing, use a standard low-pressure spray device or a roller. Apply the agent at least twice at intervals of 5–15 minutes between each application until complete saturation of the material is achieved. Note that the spray mist can spread very widely during application and can damage glass surfaces.
On horizontal stone surfaces, AREXAL®-Pro-Brick can be poured out and spread with a squeegee, brush, or mop. Avoid the formation of dry spots during treatment. Complete saturation is achieved after about 20–30 minutes. Remove residues, as otherwise shiny or white spots could form.

Product Description
PURIDAL is a low-viscosity liquid based on soluble alkali silicate compounds with very good capillary penetration ability.
Certificate of Testing
Effects and strength increases by treatment with PURIDAL Testing Institute for Building Materials Dr. Günther Böttcher 1225 A 1225 B
Application Areas
PURIDAL is used for solidifying and stabilizing mineral building materials and mortars such as concrete, masonry bricks, plaster, and natural stone. It encapsulates and passivates building-damaging salts, e.g., sulfates, nitrates, chlorides, etc.
Mode of Action/Properties:
The applied PURIDAL converts the free lime in the building material into calcium silicate, thereby increasing the strength of the building material.
It prevents the transport of building-damaging salts to the surface of the building material, by encapsulating and passivating the salts. PURIDAL inhibits excessive water absorption capacity in plaster substrates and does not affect the water vapor diffusion capability of the building material.

Application Instructions:
For solidifying surfaces and encapsulating building-damaging salts, PURIDAL is applied to dry, or possibly slightly moist, building materials using spraying or flooding methods. Depending on the required penetration depth, multiple applications may be necessary, working wet in wet. For solidifying foundations, masonry, concrete, etc., PURIDAL is introduced via drill holes using soaking or injection methods. (see the Injection information sheet)
Please note:
For subsequent systems (e.g., bonding bridge, adhesive slurry) to adhere properly on surfaces treated with PURIDAL, they must be applied wet in wet without waiting. Excess PURIDAL can form a white haze on the surface. Protect glass and anodized parts. Clean tools and injection machines with water.
Safety Advice:
Due to its alkalinity, PURIDAL is corrosive. The protective measures ordered by the chemical professional association must be strictly followed. Work with gloves and safety glasses. Avoid skin contact with the product. To better protect the hands, apply a protective skin cream. Immediately rinse material splashes on the skin or in the eye with plenty of water and then seek medical attention immediately.

Dry mortar for plastering salt-laden, moist interior and exterior walls
Binds the salts in the wall, no efflorescence anymore, no sacrificial plaster!
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is a ready-to-use, white dry mortar according to DIN 18557, mortar group PII according to DIN 18550, for the preparation of a pore-hydrophobic, particularly diffusion-capable plaster for the renovation of old buildings.
Application areas
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is used for the permanent plastering of moist, mostly salt-laden masonry, and is therefore ideally used for the restoration of damp cellars, vaults, and historic building fabric. It achieves dry surfaces and prevents efflorescence and plaster spalling.
AREXAL® restoration plaster white, with its lime content, is suitable for plaster restoration in the area of monument conservation. It is preferably used as an interior restoration plaster in rooms heavily burdened by moisture, and is also optimally suitable in both old and new construction. It balances the room climate and prevents condensation on the plaster surface. It transforms cellar mustiness into living room quality and keeps your walls dry.
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is an essential accompanying measure to any type of horizontal barrier.
Mode of action/Properties:
AREXAL® restoration plaster white
is a lime-cement plaster (mortar group PII) with low susceptibility to cracking and a favorable strength ratio
is a hydrophobic pore plaster with particularly high water vapor diffusion
is almost capillary inactive, thus does not transport water or salts
thereby creates a salt-free and dry surface (dew point relocation) inward, prevents condensation)
permanently prevents salt efflorescence, color and plaster spalling, is absolutely frost and salt resistant, promotes the drying of moist, salt-laden structures
is not a dehumidifying plaster
is very suitable for machine processing (plaster machine).

Processing Preliminary Treatment
Remove the existing plaster or bond-disrupting substances down to the raw masonry (up to twice the wall thickness, at least 50 cm beyond the visible moisture limit). Completely eliminate gypsum, wood remnants, and similar foreign materials. Scrape out decayed joint networks to a depth of 2 cm and thoroughly clean the surface (dry blasting) or sweep with a stiff broom. Promptly remove the construction debris while it's still dry.
Salt Treatment
Even with heavily salt-laden building materials, it may be possible to forego any salt treatment if ArexA - pore base plaster is used as a buffer zone. However, a single salt treatment with ArexA-Pro Concrete or Pro Brick is recommended despite the buffer zone.
to consolidate the substrate,
to encapsulate most of the harmful salts in the substrate,
to increase the lifespan of the pore base plaster and thus the entire restoration system, and
to ensure its full diffusion capability over this period.
Consumption: at least 0.2 l/m2 per soaking
Spritzbewurf: The spritzbewurf is applied fresh on fresh to the substrate soaked with AREXAL®- Pro Concrete or Brick (waiting time max. 1 hour).
Net-like application is usually done with AREXAL®-restoration plaster white (inside and outside);
To improve the adhesion of all subsequent ArexA - plaster systems, the surface of the bonding bridge should be left spray-rough. The waiting time for the subsequent plaster system is at least 4 hours, usually 2–4 days. If the surface is dry, it should be well pre-moistened.
Base or Leveling Plaster
Uneven plaster bases are leveled with AREXAL®-restoration plaster white. For large irregularities and fissures (20 mm to 60 mm), work in multiple layers. In principle, AREXAL®-restoration plaster white can also act as a leveling plaster, but must not exceed 2 cm plaster thickness (WTA). Only AREXAL® - pore base plaster is suitable as a salt buffer zone, where the minimum layer thickness is 10 mm. Intermediate layers and plaster surface should be left rough.
Before applying further layers or the subsequent restoration plaster, the waiting time should be at least 4 hours. If the surface is dry, it should again be pre-moistened.
Restoration Plaster
Mixing instructions: Pre-place 5 l of clean, cold water in a mixing bucket, sprinkle in the contents of the bag (30 kg), mix intensively and homogeneously in a suitable mixer.
Water consumption with a suitable plaster machine (e.g., G4) is about 220 l/hr.
Mixing Time
Forced-action mixer about 5 minutes. Free-fall mixers are poorly suited and require significantly longer mixing times. To avoid mixing errors, prepare at least one full bag content.
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is usually applied 2–4 days later. For base plaster thicknesses over 2 cm, an additional waiting time of 1 day should be considered (WTA). The restoration plaster mortar is vigorously hand-thrown or processed mechanically. A minimum layer thickness of 2 cm is mandatory.
Exceptions
over AREXAL® - pore base plaster, 1.5 cm plaster thickness is sufficient
as a finishing plaster over AREXAL® - barrier plaster, 1 cm plaster thickness is sufficient
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is usually applied in a single layer. High levels of moisture in the substrate or interior restoration of heavily moisture-laden rooms require a two-layer application (minimum plaster thickness per layer 1 cm), as the functionality only begins when the plaster has dried out once.
Intermediate layers should be left rough, as well as the plaster surface if finished with AREXAL® - fine plaster.
Otherwise, after leveling with a straight edge (aluminum) and after setting, the surface is rubbed with a board, preferably without adding water. The waiting time before applying further layers or a subsequent AREXAL® restoration plaster is at least 4 hours.
Notes & Consumption Quantities
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is processed by hand or mechanically according to the rules of craftsmanship and guidelines for plaster according to DIN 18550; For execution and aftercare of ArexA restoration plaster white, the guidelines for plaster according to DIN 18550 apply: Avoid heat, frost, strong wind during and up to 24 hours after execution, and ensure sufficiently long moistening; For capillary rising dampness, the installation of a horizontal barrier (chemical or mechanical) is recommended as an accompanying measure.
Protect glass, wood, built-in parts from material contamination
Clean contaminated parts immediately with plenty of water
Cleaning of all tools and equipment should also be done immediately after use with water
Disposal of dried residues through household waste landfill
1 bag (30Kg) covers approx. 2.3sqm at 1cm application thickness.
Safety Advice
AREXAL® restoration plaster white is not subject to the Hazardous Substances Regulation (GefStoffV).
However, in a workable state, AREXAL® restoration plaster white is "corrosive" due to its alkalinity.
The prescribed protective measures and accident prevention regulations of the Chemical Professional Association must be strictly followed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection during work. Due to its alkaline reaction with water, larger amounts should not enter groundwater or surface water.
